Mostly ok but we had booked a 3 bed room, and wore given a 2 bed room which was very small. Hardly room to walk past the end of the bed. Also quite expensive compared with other budget hotels. Concierge friendly and helpful

Excellent...Room's great, shower's great, breakfast is great...one possible improvement would be to provide a duvet for the bunk bed rather than the (extra long) sheet and blanket. Other than that, no complaints. Thanks

The title of my review says it all really. We used this hotel as both a launch pad to get an early start for a long trip south and also to break up the return journey. We were not disappointed. A word of warning. We are a family of four and we opted for two rooms on the way out which worked perfectly. On the way back we split up and my wife and two children stayed in one room at the Ibis Budget and I tried to save a few bob by staying at the F1 a short walk up the road. Big mistake. I had been driving for 10 hours and I would describe myself as a good sleeper, but I got no peace at all through the night. The noise and respect shown by my fellow guests was pretty poor by French standards. There was one peaceful hour between 4 and 5 am. If you need 4 (or up to 6) beds, do yourself a favour and book two rooms at the Ibis Budget. You won't regret the additional 20 odd euros. Some may be put off by the location of this hotel as it is on a very quiet industrial estate next to a motorway. I could barely hear the traffic on the roads even with the window open and the quiet location gave me confidence that I could leave my bikes locked to the car over night without any concerns. One last thing for your consideration, there is a Decathlon located on the same estate which you pass on your way in/out from the motorway. Could be handy for stocking up on any good value items you may have forgotten before heading off on your holiday e.g. bike accessories/wetsuits/surfboards etc.

Approximately 60 miles from the Channel Tunnel and 300 miles from South Yorkshire so the ideal place for a stopover before heading further South. A standard Ibis Budget, so no frills but perfectly adequate. Easy to find as only a few hundred metres from the motorway junction and a 10 minute walk from the Buffalo Grill.

Stayed here many times . Always made welcome. The new refurbishments are nearly finished . We stayed in a new room . I like the new shower and toilet - a real bonus. Also the beds are really comfortable. Would recommend to thinking of using Ibis Budget.

What more can you say. It does what an Ibis Budget does. No frills, clean and close to motorway and restaurants. Breakfast plentiful and decent quality. Only a 5 minute drive to the centre of Abbeville if you want a wider choice of facilities

Well . . . what a difference a few months can make. Last autumn I gave feedback to IBIS about our dire experience in Abbeville . I did not know that that feedback would be shared with the tripadvisor community, but all credit to Accor for being honest and posting a critical review. We stayed overnight again there on the 5th July (it is VERY convenient if you are travelling from the Charente Maritime, or further south, to Le Shuttle or the Channel ports). This time the auto entry system worked fine: when we did meet their (skeleton) staff they were cheery and friendly ; and breakfast was excellent this time. OK . . .. this IBIS Budget is on an industrial estate, but there are decent places to eat within walking distance (Buffalo Grill for eg, + a Chinese restaurant and an 'American diner' LOL). For an economy overnight stay with the basics tis good value (with breakfast . . do). We'll be back again in October, for sure. ps. And it is dog-friendly.

The hotel was not easy to find, we were there for the Commemoration of the Battle of the Somme and it was the only hotel that we could find that was anywhere in the region we needed to be. It was basic but you know that before you go. Our wash basin didn't even have a plug. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. The staff were friendly, the code system for entering the property and your room worked well, although no-one was there at reception until 4pm. The free wi-fi worked really well,I was glad that I took my own hairdyer as none in the rooms. If we stayed in this region again we would try the original Ibis hotel

Very cute and smart exterior to the hotel. Room was perfectly adequate and clean. Handy stopover when travelling back to the UK after a long drive. Our stay had been pre-booked in the UK. We arrived at 5.00pm and no one was on duty. The self service check in was highly temperamental. We eventually achieved a result. Very frustrating.

Situated out of town within a zone industrial. Not ideal for sightseeing but very good for the 90 minute drive to Calais. Having stayed there many times I can report that the hotel has always been clean and tidy. Parking is good with the road gates being closed overnight. On our last visit the lady on reception was cheerful and offered advice on where to eat if required. It has been frustrating on other occasions when the reception area has been empty and has taken some while for some one to arrive. That said we will continue to use the hotel as it is fair value. As regards location, it is far quicker to arrive via the auto route than passing through the center of Abbeville

The auto-entry entry system didn't work (pre-paid and also having stayed here before). After 6+ hours on the road that is not what you want, especially when coupled with an unsympathetic receptionist, when the reception eventually opened at 17.00 heures: we wasted a lot of time waiting for codes etc. OK budget hotel, but the breakfasts have gone downhill since last year.

Pleasantly surprised by my first stay at a Budget Ibis. Friendly welcome at reception, easy keypad access to the room, a room that was simply but adequately equipped, and a quiet night. The mattress was quite hard, and there is no hairdryer, but I had taken my own. However the position of the socket by the washbasin mirror made it impossible to use an international adapter there, so I had to use it near another mirror by the door, which was a bit of a stretch for the lead.

Very disappointed, room was dirty, dust on most surfaces, hair in the shower. Booked breakfast for 4 people but couldn't have it as breakfast wasn't available until 7.30am where previously in Ploougastel breakfast was available from 6.00am.

Although we had a reservation, we arrived about 10.00pm and couldn't get access as the automatic room allocator was broken and wouldn't accept our UK debit cards. Thankfully a very kindly Frenchman ofered to use his and we repaid him in cash. There is an emergency phone number, but that's not ideal when you have tired children! Otherwise a decent enough place for a break of journey.

This Ibis Budget is very basic, clean and okay for an overnight stop. Near the motorway and also near to Abbeville and amenities such as shops, restaurants etc. Do not think we would use this hotel again as for looking around at other prices you could get a better hotel.

After a nine hour drive from the south the Ibis Budget at Abbeville gave us just what we wanted. A charming and helpful receptionist, a smart room with a comfortable bed and all at a reasonable price. Plus several restaurants in easy walking distance. We will certainly come again!

We use Ibis Budget hotels when travelling through France. This one is conveniently located just off the motorway, only about 1 hour from Calais and is always clean, comfortable with a friendly welcome. Breakfast good value. There are restaurant chains nearby, walkable if you have had enough of the car by then!

we arrived at the hotel, this is one we stayed at the year before and I must say that this year the cleaner must have had the year off as for the rest it was Ok to say the least It did not have a TV remote in the room we had to ask for another one and the table top was wet with water I think it was water anyway

I stayed here as part of a group taking part in a cycling event. It was my third visit and nothing much has changed except the stale smell seems to have vanished now it's a no-smoking hotel. The rooms are clean, very basic, sometimes noisy; the beds are comfortable enough. And it's cheap. It's quite a long walk into Abbeville although only a few minutes by bike and very close to the autoroute. Access is better now that the industrial estate is expanding and some of the roads have been joined up. One major gripe was that we - and other guests - were unable to check in due to a fault with the machine that takes payment and issues keycodes. We had to wait a couple of hours for the receptionist to arrive. Not a good start to our stay.

Basic Hotel, meets one needs. Could pay more attention to detail and have better maintenance. Rooms were not checked to see if housekeeping had cleaned them. Auto room checking in machine did not operate, had to wait for receptionist hours. Young lady on reception was excellent and saved the hotels reputation.
