Most helpful staff and pleasant surroundings and a beautiful city with easy access to Antwerpen where we visited a good friend. Cafe Europa was a stand out for atmosphere and service and the food was fabulous.
I have stayed at the hotel several times. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They also remember that I have stayed before. The location of the hotel is excellent. The breakfast is excellent with a very good choice of hot and cold food. The bar is also excellent with a very good choice of Belgium beers. Can get very busy in the evening though!
Location is convenient! It is right by the center of Sint Niklaas. Shops and restaurants nearby. Secured parking underground. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Good breakfast and great selection of menu.
Very friendly welcome with nice rooms and very central to the town. Reduced price parking close by in the local underground car park. The breakfast was up to the usual Ibis standard. The bar has a good selection of belgian beers including 1 at 12%
Friendly reception, good service and convenient parking.close to the centre opf the town. Generous selection at breakfast and a feeling of security in the room because the lify required use of a room key to go up to bedroom floors.
A great location with friendly staff. A very spacious room with 3 beds in it and a large bathroom. Breakfast was very good however, it was very busy and not much room to get seated. The bar area was very large and was very busy. A nice touch was the complementary salami and cheese!
I had a very nice stay at the hotel and the service was very good. The hotel is well located and easy to access. The rooms are nice, clean and well ventilated. How it would be good to have refrigerator and coffee/tea facilities in the rooms.I liked so much the arrangement for breakfast as there was a wider choice of food for clients to choose what they preferred.
Clean, quiet, great service. My favorite place to stay when working in the area. Staff is exceptional. Great location. Breakfast is good. Very nice courtyard. The rooms are typical Ibis, nothing fancy but comfortable.
booked and stayed after late change of plans! Walkable from railway station and well sign posted for pedestrians. Excellent check in! Connie was very friendly and efficient and provided a warm welcome. Indeed it seems Connie does everything - bar and food as well!! And Connie does it all with a smile and efficiently! Rooms as one would expect. Good choice of tv channels in a variety of languages. Good hotel well located.
Everything was good and corresponds to the price. Staff very responsive for all requests during the vacation when we need something. Some problems with tv at check-in but was repaired quickly. Breakfast we not order in hotel as think high price and you can more cheaper eat in any cafes near by.
My first stay at this hotel and I was quite pleased with the location and the staff. The room was very large and the bathroom excellent. The breakfast was very good and was kept being replenished. Excellent choice of beers on offer.
We had a very good stay at hotel ibis sint niklaas, although there is nothing much to do in the city but we had a very good stay, all of the staff is very helpful, and the location of the hotel is perfect right in the city centre.
Efficient, clean, helpful hotel. My wife and I spent a day there on our way to Dunkirk on our way home. Parking was in a public pay car park, but for $6 euros, we were able to use the car park as much as needed - a good saving.
Booked the Ibis Sint-Niklaas for a single night because I was in town for a wedding. Arrived well after 1AM but thankfully the hotel has 24h reception. Room 224 is a double room right behind the corner of the elevator. A maintenance closet separates the room from the elevator shaft so there's no noize. It's on the backside of the hotel, overlooking the courtyard. The room offers a double bed, free flatscreen TV with local and select international channels, luggage stand, extra blanket in the closet, sofa and phone. The bathroom offers a hairdryer, fixed soap dispensers, towels and showercap. When entering the room the a/c was still active and set to 17°C. With an outside temperature of 26°C it made the room feel too chilly to go to bed right away. But apart from that there are no other remarks to make. I took advantage of the possiblility to have breakfast in the courtyard half an hour before the buffet would close. Apart from a stray wasp it was a fun way to end my stay, as I checked out immediately after breakfast. The breakfast buffet offered the usual Ibis Hotel range of eggs, saucages, yoghurt, crêpes, fresh juice, croissants and other mini-pastries, cereal, fruit, coffee, chocolate milk, tea, baguettes with several jams & syrups, ham & cheese, fruit mix and dried fruits like raisins, apricots and plums. Overall I had quite an enjoyable stay and would definately go here again!
Next to the main square, so very convenient for the town centre. Facilities as one would expect from an Ibis, and an all-night reception which could be useful. Drawbacks: very limited snack menu, and no kettles in room.
A training room would make that hotel perfect, but otherwise it was perfect for my needs. Very good assistance from staff. Very good morning breakfast. Very easy to walk from railway station. There is plenty of signalisation showing hotel direction. Several restaurant at 5 minutes walk distance.
One overnight on a wet Sunday/Monday is not sufficient on which to judge an hotel but this is one to which we probably won't return. Initial difficulties in unloading/parking our car, which we had not expected, the apparent presence of only one member of staff who was required to do everything (reception, bar and waiting), and a nauseating smell in the lift which wasn't fixed until the next morning didn't get things off to a good start but otherwise we were very satisfied with our room, the quality and value of the bar meals we had, and the breakfast buffet. Unusually for an Ibis, this hotel lacked any warmth or interest from the few staff we eventually met and also character. It didn't seem to be thriving. And yet Sint Niklaas is perfect for Antwerp and three routes up into the Netherlands. Perhaps it is the hotel's actual situation in the very centre of the town which is its greatest downside although potentially its greatest asset.
Very good location as it is right in the centre. However, it is expensive for an Ibis hotel. The service received at the reception desk was excellent. The housekeeping staff was loud in the early morning and too eager to kick us out of the room.
It is a good idea to ask for a room in the back instead of the front of the hotel. There is a lot of traffic from 7AM on. Otherwise perfectly located in the center of the city. Ask for a parking voucher as this will cost you only EUR 6.- /day. Otherwise it is EUR 15.- per day!
